Saturday, July 9, 2011
Bruce Murno British artist has made use of hundreds of thousands of CDs to fulfill a childhood dream and create a real sea of CDs.
Called “CdSea” this curious art project was created in the field Long Knoll, near Kilmington, England. To achieve his dream, the famous artist called on the general public, through the British press and BBC radio station and asked everyone to send in any CD that might be useless there. Received a massive response, and thousands of CDs began to arrive from as far away as California and Brazil.
