Kevin Bacon, a world-known actor who has won Golden Globe and several other awards, and a proud owner of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Now he has been used as inspiration to the guys in J&D Foods and the website What Do Bacon Do. They have come up with the idea to make a bust of Kevin Bacon out of real bacon, and the artist behind it all is Mike Lahue. The bust is auctioned on eBay, and the money goes to cancer suffering children and their families.
Though it looks good, the bust of Kevin Bacon is not edible because it is covered with a lot of lacquer. Lahue on the other hand ate a whole lot of bacon while making the statue, and he says that he will never look at Kevin Bacon the way he used to. A lot of you are probably wondering who won the auction. One sure thing is that whoever got it has a pretty awesome piece of bacon art at home. Others have made different statues of strange materials, like for example these farm kids.
