Sculptures made with matches

The scottish David Mach, 53 years old, has a passion for art and matches, so he decided to combine them and create unique works of art. Using a clay mold, David manages to create a fiberglass model of what he wants to create, and then begins the phase of the introduction of the matches on it, one at a time. Most of his creations are made with tens of thousands of matches with color on top, imported from Japan, and may take up to months to complete one of them
